Call for Application to the Board of Directors

Call for Application for Committee Members

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms, also known as MPN Blood Cancers, are a rarer under diagnosed form of blood cancer. Every day, 2 Canadians are diagnosed with MPN Blood Cancers – yet, despite its growing prevalence, the disease remains relatively unknown. To date, there is no cure for MPN Blood Cancers – however, advancements in research and treatment are enabling those impacted by MPN Blood Cancers to live better and longer lives than ever before. More research leading to new therapies or new combinations of therapies is required to find a cure.

MPN Blood Cancers are associated with the abnormal behavior and uncontrolled growth of Bone Marrow cells.

Canadian MPN Research Foundation is the only national charitable organization created by, and for, Canadians impacted by Myeloproliferative Neoplasms. As a grassroots organization, we were the first in Canada exclusively devoted to bridging the gap among patients, caregivers, industry partners, governments, researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals. Canadian MPN Research Foundation has been making MPN Blood Cancers matter since it was founded in 2017. Please visit our website at https://www.cmpnrf.ca.

Creating a strong base from where we can best meet the needs of our community:

1. Science and Research - Fostering, supporting and funding MPN Blood Cancers-related research and research projects that lead to a better and longer quality of life for those living with the disease.

2. Community empowerment - Building an empowered, informed and engaged MPN Blood Cancers community and facilitating an integrated network of all MPN Blood Cancers stakeholders.

3. Education - Developing, supporting and disseminating information and resources to help our MPN Blood Cancers community make informed decisions about the disease and to assist the MPN Physician Community in providing tools and education in treating MPN blood Cancers

4. Awareness - Promoting early diagnosis, increasing awareness of MPN Blood Cancers and the ways it affects the lives of patients and their families.
