Sole 2 Soul for MPN

CURE®, the Canadian MPN Research Foundation, and our counterparts in the United States, the MPN Research Foundation have created an Adventure program, Sole 2 Soul for MPNs, an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for MPN research.

Hikers will embark on an inspirational, life changing, and community building adventure for patients with MPN blood cancers, their loved ones, survivors, advocates, and medical professionals. The empowering hiking adventure offers participants with an opportunity to redefine what’s possible after a cancer diagnosis, while joining a welcoming team that challenges their personal limits and widens their circle of support. Applications are now closed, and we are grateful for the wonderful response!

There will also be a training climb, which is an opportunity for all participants to meet each other, from June 26-28th, 2022. It is highly encouraged that all participants attend this training climb.

The event has been sponsored by three pharmaceutical partners whose investment will cover the cost of all participants travel and lodging in its entirety, as well as logoed hiking gear. The cost of meals will also be covered while at Waterton National Park.

This will be a true team event and with participants from both the United States and Canada, our goal is to bridge the gap between care and bring the MPN community together. The entire event and training climb will be filmed by videographers and we will be able to utilize this footage for our use after the event. That said, all participants will need to be open to being on film and sharing their story.

The CURE organization will be spearheading all the media relations and promotion of this event and is looking after all trek logistics.

Our wish for this app is to support three important communities:

Patients

Patients can take control of their journey by tracking their symptoms to support symptom management and communications with health care practitioners.

Health Care Practitioners

HCPs can access patients' symptom tracking to increase the value of appointments and better understand their patients' symptom progression.

Researchers

Researchers can access aggregated, anonymized symptom data to support their initiatives.
